As keen runners, we ensure that the event focuses on the athletes, and we pride ourselves on the professional yet warm and welcoming feel of the event.
The Abingdon Marathon attracts keen runners from running clubs nationwide seeking personal best times or those wishing to complete a user-friendly first marathon.
Charitable focus
We run the event strictly not-for-profit; all profits are donated to local charities and chosen organisations. In 2025, the Abingdon Marathon raised £20,300 for our charities.
